A few more gardens needed

We have a fantastic collection of gardens for you to enjoy in the next HI Open Gardens, on 14th June 2026, but it would be great to have just a couple more. If you’re interested in opening your garden, please contact us as soon as possible at info@opengardens.org and we can tell you more. Please help to spread the word and help us to reach all those wonderful gardeners hidden away in our villages – share on social media and your street WhatsApp group, and talk to your friends and neighbours.

This is, above all, a community event and we welcome gardens of all shapes and sizes, so please don’t be deterred if you don’t have a show garden! Visitors love to see how other gardeners grow their veg, encourage wildlife, or even hide their play equipment! If you’ve been inspired by previous events, it’s also a lovely way to give back to our community and inspire the next generation of gardeners. Opening you garden is a really rewarding experience and, for extra, magic there is also the option of hosting live music. You’ll also be helping to raise valuable funds for local, national and international charities.
