Welcome to Histon & Impington Open Gardens
Next event: Sunday 14th June 2026
This is a biennial community event, in which villagers generously open their gardens to the public for one day in June. All proceeds from the event are shared between several charities, nominated by the garden owners. With gardens of all shapes and sizes, live music and much more, it’s a magical and fun family day out.
Join us!
If you’re interested in opening your garden in 2026, we would love to hear from you! It can be any size – the tiniest spaces are often the most inspiring – and it certainly doesn’t need to be a show garden! Perhaps you have an interesting collection, a productive vegetable plot or a sustainability project. Read the blog to find out more, and contact us if you’re interested.

Open Gardens 2024
Open Gardens 2024 raised a fantastic £9000, which was shared equally between our 4 chosen charities, Trussel Trust, HI Green Spaces, HI Feast and Explorer Scouts. This brings our grand total, since the event began in 2007, to a staggering £63,000! A huge thank you to everyone who contributed.
With thanks to our 2024 sponsors
