Time to get growing!

If you’re sowing seeds, dividing perennials or taking cuttings this spring, please save a few for us!

Our plant stalls on the Green, on the day of Open Gardens and the 3 Saturdays before, are a fantastic fundraiser and always very popular. They can be great if you’re trying to establish your garden on a shoestring, or simply want to grow what you know grows well in your neighbours’ gardens, and they’re a great way to try something new without breaking the bank.

Do you have perennials that need dividing this spring? Do you always end up with a few more flower, herb or vegetable seedlings than you need? Or perhaps you’ve been propagating your favourite pelargoniums or salvias from cuttings? Do you have a favourite plant that loves the local conditions and kindly self-seeds a little too freely? If so, we would love your spare plants for our plant stall. Whether it’s cosmos or cucumber, cactus or coriander, you would be helping to boost the money we raise for our charities, as well as spreading the love for your favourite plants through the villages!

If you email or message us nearer the time, we can come and collect them from you, or you could simply bring them along to the stall on the Green
