Parking
There is a small amount of roadside parking at The Green, where we will be selling programmes and plants, along with a small public carpark on the High Street (behind Thomson Webb & Corfield). Note that the carpark behind Tesco is strictly for customers only, with cameras in operation and fines issued. Street parking should be available close to all of the gardens – please refer to the map in your programme; in some locations, such as School Hill, Windmill Lane, Burgoynes Road, a nearby side street may be the best option.

Wheelchair access to gardens

Assistance during HI Open Gardens
If your mobility isn’t as good as you’d like, we’ll do what we can to help you to access our gardens, but do bear in mind that our volunteers and helpers may well be busy and can’t always guarantee to be on hand.

Guide/assistance dogs
Dogs (on leads) are welcome in many of the gardens (see garden listings in the programme). A small number are guide/assistance dogs only. Please be mindful that the reason for this is usually the presence of pets who will be traumatised, or even endangered, by a visiting dog, and that individual garden owners reserve the right to refuse entry if they feel that this is necessary.

Feedback
If you have found this information useful, or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know (info@opengardens.org). We value your comments, which will help us to make future events more accessible.
